Summary

This dataset is derived from the High Resolution (1:24,000-scale) National Hydrography Dataset (NHD). The Arkansas Department of Energy and Environemnt, Division of Environmental Quality uses this layer as their base water layer and shares this data with the public upon request.The purpose of this dataset is to provide a cartographic representation of some of the waters of the state. It is not a full representaion of all of the waters of the state. The lack of inclusion in this gis polyline does not suggest or imply anyting about the status of a waterways status.

Description

This dataset is derived from the High Resolution (1:24,000-scale) National Hydrography Dataset (NHD). The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality uses this layer as their base water layer. This dataset includes the DEQ Reach column in the attribute table. DEQ reaches are referenced in the 303(d) list and 305(b) report.
